Storm Threatens Local Restaurants On Valentine's Day
BOSTON (CBS) - The relentless snowfall will continue this weekend and the timing could not be worse for local restaurant owners.
They should be preparing for a busy Valentine's Day, not another storm.
Legal Seafood's Executive Chef Rich Vellante hopes the snow doesn't ruin Saturday.
"We have a lot of reservations. The brave-hearts have no problem coming out here in the snow storm," he told WBZ-TV.
With the brutal winter already hampering business, Vellante is also worried about his employees.
"There is a livelihood there and so there is a sustainability for their livelihood," said Vellante.
Legal Seafoods will be open Saturday, but they will also offer a Valentine's dinner event March 6th-8th if conditions keep customers from their plans this weekend.
