Storm Forces Boston, Worcester School Closings
BOSTON (AP) - Boston and Worcester public school officials have canceled classes in anticipation of the second wave of a massive winter storm that is expected to hit Massachusetts.
It will be the fifth snow day for Boston public schools this academic year. Spokesman Matthew Wilder says Family Resource Centers and the Newcomer Assessment Center will also be closed Wednesday.
But Boston Centers for Youth and families community centers will be open to help parents of children 6-years-old and older who need child care.
In Worcester, before and after school activities and programs have also been canceled.
