Storm Cleanup Bill: $14 Million
BOSTON (AP) -- Clearing all that snow won't come cheap.
Massachusetts transportation officials estimate the state spent more than $14 million to battle the weekend storm, which dumped up to 18 inches of snow across the Boston area.
Most of the cost went into keeping 4,000 pieces of snow clearing equipment on the road at the storm's height.
