Stolen Ashes Returned To NH Woman's Doorstep
ROCHESTER, NH (CBS) - Days after a New Hampshire woman had her late mother's ashes stolen from her car, the urn has been returned.
Last week, someone broke into Diane Bozzi's minivan and stole a bag that was carrying some of her mother's ashes.
Bozzi had promised her mother she'd take her ashes to Bingo, so that's what she did.
Bozzi told WBZ-TV that the thief could just return the ashes to her doorstep with no questions asked.
And that is exactly what happened.
Bozzi found the urn sitting on her doorstep Wednesday morning.
