Staying Quiet, Getting Colder
Happy November! There will be a blanket of clouds around today, but there will also be some sunny breaks. Within the cyclonic flow, we will hold onto a very slim chance of a brief sprinkle/shower this afternoon. Highs will be seasonable in the middle to upper 50s.
Friday will be the polar opposite of the beginning of the week. There will be partly sunny skies with highs in the middle 50s.
The first weekend of November is going to be bright but it's going to come with a price--->colder temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Monday and 'Election Day' Tuesday are looking dry at this time. Both days will be chilly with high temps hanging in the middle to upper 40s. On Wednesday, both long-range models show a coastal low 'scraping' Southern New England. There will be showers in the forecast as well as the potential for wintry precipitation for inland/high elevation neighborhoods. We will be watching the latest models to see if it makes a more harder turn to the east or west when it heads our way. Ski resorts may like the looks and sounds of this...snow?!?! ;)
*Extra Tidbits:* I did a little extra research this morning, and here is what I found. A look ahead to the month of November...average highs start at 57F but end at 47F...average of 3.98" of precipitation (1.5" snow)...sunset goes from 5:37pm to 4:13pm losing about 1 hour of daylight throughout the month. December: The earliest susnet will be on December 8 @ 4:11pm. The shortest day this year will be on December 21 with 9hrs, 4mins, and 33 secs of daylight.
