Mark Katic talked to folks at Revere beach who say no plans for a big trip.
"We came to this beach instead of going to Gloucester," joked one beachgoer.
Some blamed the economy; others blamed the traffic. Ironically, some say the best time to be here is when most of the locals are gone and there's much less traffic on the roads.
"This is the perfect place to be right now, on the beach 30 minutes from home," said one sunbather.
