State Police Seek ID Of Remains Found On Revere Beach

REVERE (CBS) - State Police are looking for help identifying the man whose body washed ashore on Revere Beach last week.

Investigators haven't been able to determine the man's ethnicity, but a forensic anthropologist thinks he was between 20 and 40 years old.

On April 30th, someone walking along Revere Beach spotted the body in the shallow water. The medical examiner has not been able to determine a cause of death.

On Monday, investigators released two pictures of the clothing the man was wearing.

The man was wearing a pair of American Eagle brand jeans with a 30 inch waist, cinched with a black, braided leather belt.

Inside the pocket was a key to a Kryptonite bicycle lock.

The man was also wearing boxer shorts with an image of a Volkswagen bug with a surfboard on its rooftop.

If you have any information please call the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit at 617-727-8817.
