State Police Investigating Report Of Man Pepper Sprayed During Protests
BOSTON (CBS) -- State Police are looking into an incident recorded on cell phone video that appears to show a trooper using pepper spray on a protester in Boston.
The video, posted on YouTube by Kin Moy suggests he was pepper sprayed by a state trooper after being told to move out of the way of a police motorcycle.
"It was very painful," Moy told WBZ-TV's Paul Burton.
Moy said he was filming police arrests, but those recordings were lost. He said the trooper he captured on video on the motorcycle threatened to run him over. Another trooper on foot then pepper sprayed him twice.
"The first one hit my phone the second one came over my phone. It got both of my eyes and definitely couldn't see anything," Moy said.

State Police spokesperson David Procopio said the department has launched an internal investigation "to determine whether it constitutes a violation of departmental policy."
Moy said he's not angry at the officer but he does want to know if what the trooper did was right or wrong.
"For me it's about accountability and repercussions for excessive force," he said.
