State Launches Another Round Of Mosquito Spraying
BOSTON (CBS) - The state launched another round of aerial spraying for mosquitoes in southeastern Massachusetts Monday night.
The Department of Public Health launched planes to spray pesticide over Bridgewater, Easton, Norton, Raynham, Taunton and West Bridgewater.
The spraying started just before 8pm Monday night and was scheduled to continue until 2:30 am.
Residents were told to stay inside while the spraying took place.
So far, there have not been any human cases of EEE linked to mosquitoes in Massachusetts.
A man from Middlesex County did contract it, but officials believe he got it out of state.
