Stanley Cup Replica Stolen From Wakefield Home
WAKEFIELD (CBS) - Somebody stole a Stanley Cup in Wakefield the night the Bruins clinched a spot in the finals.
Before each Bruins playoff game, the Ross family put their replica cup on the front porch of their home on Keeling Road.
But Friday night, someone ran off with it.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens reports
7-year-old Abby Ross said she's "angry and sad."
"They don't make these cups anymore, so it costs a fortune, so they don't want to buy it on eBay, so they just stole it," she told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.
Abby's father said he got the cup about ten years ago. He estimates the value at about $350.
