Springlike to Summerlike!

Besides morning clouds along the South Coast/Cape/Islands, we will enjoy plenty of sunshine today with highs in the lower 50s.

It will be cooler along the coast as a seabreeze develops this afternoon.  The same forecast will ring true on Friday as a surface high suppresses the rain to our south. Once again, highs will be in the lower to middle 50s except cooler along the coast.  We can give thanks to a surface high centered to our north for the dry weather the remainder of this week.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

Home Opener @ Fenway:   1st Pitch Forecast...Mostly sunny with temps near 50.  Cooler along the coast.

Temperatures will skyrocket this weekend into early next week.  Highs will start near 60F on Saturday and then head towards the 70F degree mark by Sunday.

A warm front may spark a few showers on Sunday/Sunday night as it travels northward.  Then, we will be in the warm sector on Monday.

At this point, warm air advection appears to be strong enough to push the mercury into the 80s. We may set a record!

Partly cloudy skies on Monday will lead to a chance of showers and storms Monday night into Tuesday as a cold front nears.   The timing of the cold front is different among models.  The GFSx brings the cold front into the area by Monday night while the EURO holds off until Tuesday.  From past experience, I'd say the slower solution will most likely come to fruition, especially when it comes to the Spring and Summer seasons.

One Alarm Clock Away...

Melissa :)
