FORT MYERS, Fla (CBS) – WBZ-TV's Dan Roche has the Red Sox covered from Spring Training at Fort Myers, Florida.

The new complex is so big that the players sometimes are taken from one area to another by golf carts that seat six or so people.
Ortiz, Youk, AGon and Ellsbury were driven up to the clubhouse a few minutes ago and Ortiz shouted as he got off, "Best investment the organization has ever made!"

Bobby Valentine shouted to fans "You're watching three of the best in the world!" as Josh Beckett threw live batting practice to Adrian Gonzalez and Dustin Pedroia.
Beckett threw an assortment of pitches that had AGon and Pedey shaking their heads, at times.
A woman shouted to Pedey, "Hey, I'm 80 years old!" ...to which Pedey responded, "I won't make it that far!"

I also watched the outfielders take fly balls again today.
Bobby V was loving the fact that the wind was swirling, giving the guys a chance to adjust.

Watching full-squad workout No. 2 of the spring this morning...
I watched infielders take ground balls. Dustin Pedroia was yapping away as he always does.
Adrian Gonzalez looked his sikly smooth self at first but man, Jose Iglesias is fun to watch. He's up there with the best hands I've ever seen. If he can even hit .240 - .250 on the big-league level, he'll be a star.

A cloudy day early has turned partly sunny by mid-morning here at Red Sox camp in Fort Myers. The players are wearing their regular season home white uniforms today because it's Photo Day.
Early this morning, the players get a lot of their pics done for the season for things like game programs, baseball cards, promos, etc.
