Spooner Set To Center Bruins' First Line In Winnipeg
BOSTON (CBS) - Ryan Spooner saw less than six minutes of ice time in his NHL debut last month.
He'll have a lot more ice time and responsibility in his second go-around on Tuesday night in Winnipieg.
Spooner will center the Bruins' top line Tuesday night against the Jets, stepping in for the injured David Krejci.

The 21-year-old Spooner had 12 goals and 33 assists in 50 games for the Providence Bruins of the AHL this season. Drafted by the Bruins in the second round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Spooner made his NHL debut last month in a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens -- recording one shot on goal in eight shifts.
Spooner will center Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton on Tuesday night.
Krejci is day-to-day after taking a Johnny Boychuk slap shot to his leg Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. Boston is also without their third line center with Chris Kelly out indefinitely with a broken left tibia.
