Splendid Saturday...

It's probably going to be the best day of the Fall...OK maybe just a top 5...regardless it's going to be great!  Sunshine will be abundant once again with a few wisps of cirrus overhead.  Temperatures will be even warmer in the 60-65 degree range with a light NE breeze...too bad sunset is around 4:30PM.

Changes do arrive on Sunday, a backdoor front will work down the coast and pass through.  First off, it will cool us down by 10-15 degrees from Saturday highs to near 50.  Secondly, the shallow cold will induce a low-level inversion which will trap moisture in the layer enabling stratocumulus cloud formation and many towns will have clouded over by afternoon.  That will be the start of another gloomy stretch which will last deep into next week.

A second front will get into the picture on Monday with a little forcing along it scattered showers will be possible.  The front will likely get hung up in the area and provide a conduit for low pressure to travel up the coast and give us a good soaking Tuesday night into Wednesday.
