Spikes, Fletcher Out, 10 Questionable For Patriots
BOSTON (CBS) - Linebackers Brandon Spikes and Dane Fletcher have been ruled out for the New England Patriots' Sunday night showdown with the New York Jets.
Spikes suffered a knee injury in the Patriots loss to the Giants last weekend and did not practice all week. Is is said to be an MCL sprain that could keep him out additional weeks.
Fletcher will miss his third straight game with what is listed as a thumb injury.
10 other Patriots are questionable, including safety Patrick Chung, who was limited on Friday after not practicing Tuesday or Wednesday.

Chung suffered an ankle injury late in the fourth quarter against the Giants, but sounded optimistic about playing when addressing the media on Friday.
Kyle Arrington (foot), Shaun Ellis (rib), Kevin Faulk (knee), BenJarvis Green-Ellis (toe), Gary Guyton (shoulder), Jerod Mayo (knee), Taylor Price (hamstring), Sebastian Vollmer (back) and Ryan Wendell (concussion) are all listed as questionable for Sunday's game. All were limited in Friday's final practice.
Receiver Wes Welker was a full participant in Friday's practice, and listed as probable.
