Son Killed, Father Injured In Medford Shooting
MEDFORD (CBS) -- A son was killed, his father injured in a double shooting in Medford Friday night.
Police say John Hatch, 36, died at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. His father, whose name and age have not been released, was first taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital then transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital where he is expected to survive.

The shooting happened at 10:40 p.m. Friday at 55 Jerome Street in Medford.
Authorities say they do not believe the shooting was random.
Medford and state police with the Middlesex District Attorney's office continue to investigate.
