Some DCR Beaches And Pools To Open Friday
BOSTON (CBS) - As the weather heats up, beaches and pools usually only open on the weekend will open Friday.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation announced they are expanding their weekend lifeguard coverage to include Friday as well.
"DCR is pleased to offer expanded lifeguarding services at your public waterfronts this Friday as the early summer heat rolls in," said DCR Commissioner Edward Lambert.
DCR beaches and pools will have lifeguards every day starting June 22.
