Snow Hampers Search For Missing Maine Toddler
WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) — Large-scale search efforts for a missing 20-month-old girl are being hampered by a couple of inches of snow that fell overnight as the search for the central Maine toddler enters its seventh day.
Waterville police said Friday that local detectives along with Maine State Police and the FBI are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Ayla Reynolds.
Ayla's father, Justin DiPietro, reported her missing from his Waterville home last Saturday.

Investigators put up crime scene tape around DiPietro's house on Thursday and two state homicide prosecutors were called to the site, but police say they are still treating the disappearance as a missing child case.
Police say teams of wardens will conduct searches on Friday as necessary when targeted by detectives.
