Slowly Improving

The dreary, gloomy weather we've endured this week is nearly 90% complete as the upper level low weakens and slowly migrates eastward.  This will still continue to provide  us a chance for afternoon showers and storms today though. Highs will be between 60-70F.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

This Weekend:

Saturday: We can expect partly sunny skies early in the day.  As the upper level low heads east and a backdoor cold front dives southward Saturday evening, we will have to hold onto a chance for a few showers and storms late in the day. Highs will be 65-70F...cooler coast.

Sunday will be cooler due to the passage of the backdoor cold front which will create an onshore wind flow. This will keep the coastline in the 50s while areas inland will reach 60-65F. Skies will be partly sunny.

Next week is hinting at a warm-up with temps in the 70s/near 80F.  The timing of the passage of a cold front is still slightly off. I am following the GFSx for the most part due to its accuracy lately.  There will be a chance of showers and storms Sunday night thru Monday morning as a warm front pushes northward.  Then, a cold front that seems to waffle back and forth thru late next week will bring us a chance of storms on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Melissa :)
