Slow, But Steady Warm-Up
Yes, it's still going to be very cold today, but it will be more tolerable that the past couple of afternoons.
A Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. as wind chill values will dip to 15 below zero at times.

Winds will begin to diminish by midday. The sun will be shining for the majority of the day.
However, clouds will begin to take over the sky cover this evening. High temperatures will be from the upper teens for the neighborhoods in higher elevations and far north and west, but most of our viewing area will be in the lower 20's! Wow! It's a heat wave! Can you sense my sarcasm?! ;)
The energy from a storm offshore will produce a few light snow showers tonight, especially for southeastern Massachusetts. There's the chance that the outer Cape/Islands will receive a nearly negligible coating to an inch of snow. For most of us, it will be a nuisance snowflake or two.
The clouds and light snow showers will depart by early Saturday morning. Partial clearing will be taking place, and winds will become active once again. Highs will be a degree or two milder than Friday in the middle 20's.
Sunday will be even a tad warmer in the upper 20's. The sun will be out in FULL FORCE, but it will still be blustery.
Monday will be the first time we climb above freezing in about 7 days! Highs will reach the lower to middle 30's.
A warm front will bring the chance of a mixed bag of precipitation late Monday into early Tuesday. This warm front will be a reason to celebrate since it may push our temps to near 50 on Wednesday!!!
However, Wednesday is setting up to be a rainy day.
