SI's Peter King Predicts Super Bowl For Patriots, MVP For Brady
BOSTON (CBS) - Sports Illustrated's Peter King has made his predictions for the 2013 NFL season, with some big expectations for the New England Patriots.
King, in the SI NFL Preview issue that hits newsstands this week, predicts the Patriots will win the Super Bowl and Tom Brady will be named the league's MVP.
"Brady's mastery of the up-tempo game and his team's ability to seamlessly incorporate new skill players explain why SI is picking the Pats to win the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2004 season," says King.

The SI scribe has New England going 12-4 in the regular season, the only team in the NFL to win 12 games, capturing not only the AFC East but the top seed in the conference. The Patriots are the only team King has finishing with a winning record in their division, well in front of the Bills (7-10), Dolphins (6-10) and Jets (3-13).
With that, King predicts Brady will win his third NFL MVP.
As for the playoffs, things only get better for New England. King has the Patriots exacting some revenge on the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional game with a 23-20 win at Gillette. They follow that up with another three-point victory in the AFC Championship, 30-27, over Wes Welker and the Denver Broncos to advance to Super Bowl XLVII in New York.
