Showers Depart...Sun Sets In

Showers and rumbles of thunder came crawling across Southern New England overnight. However, the rain is exiting to our east. The cold front responsible for the rain will stall near SE Mass. through the early afternoon hours. Consequently, there will be a slight chance of a few showers and storms in those locations through approximately 2pm.  Otherwise, we will have increasing sunshine and decreasing dewpoints as the afternoon approaches the evening. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
