Shotgun Pointed At Family Over Loud TV, New Hampshire Police Say
PELHAM, N.H. (CBS) -- A 23-year-old man is accused of pointing a shotgun at a family because their television was too loud.
Adam Myjer, of Pelham, was arrested early Monday morning and charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and felony level reckless conduct.
Residents on Hobbs Road told police that Myjer was upset about the TV volume in an adjacent apartment just after midnight, and tried to kick in a door to the victim's residence.
A man, his girlfriend, and their 1-year-old came to the door, where police say they found Myjer holding a 12 gauge Remington 870 shotgun.
"He then 'racked' a round into the chamber and threatened to shoot someone in the face if the television volume wasn't turned down," Pelham police said in a statement.
Myjer is being held on $10,000 bail and is due in Salem District Court on Monday.
