Shhh! All is Quiet

A persistent onshore wind will cool us down today and will also be the culprit for the potential of minor beach erosion and splashover for east-facing beaches.  Skies will be partly sunny along with high temperatures in the upper 60s along the coast and lower 70s as you travel farther away from the coastline.  As a low pressure center and it associated front near Southern New England, we can expect rain to develop late tonight and become more scattered throughout the day on Thursday.  Highs will once again be cooler along the coast in the upper 60s...around 70F elsewhere.  Friday is going to be mild in the middle 70s along with building clouds in the afternoon.

That 'Fall-like' feeling will settle in this weeeknd.  Saturday will mark the beginning of the cold air advection that will occur this weekend.  High temps will be in the middle to upper 60s. Clouds will be building in the afternoon and bring us a chance of a spot shower.  Sunday will contain a mixture of clouds and sunshine with highs near 60F.

Atlantic Tropical Update:  Ophelia is back, and T.S. Philippe is still kickin'.
