Shaughnessy Spars With Zolak & Bertrand About Edelman And Calipari
BOSTON (CBS) - In case you missed it yesterday, Scott Zolak had a pretty epic flip-out directed towards the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy.
In an interview with The New York Times, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman refused to comment about the speculation he played through a concussion in the Super Bowl.
Sunday night on CSNNE, Shaughnessy told host Trenni Kusnierek he found Edelman's stance "disturbing," which promoted the rant from Zo, who's not convinced the receiver suffered a blow to the head. After all, he passed the concussion protocol on the sideline.
Well Shaughnessy got his chance to respond Wednesday afternoon when he appeared in studio with Zolak and Marc Bertrand.
Things got pretty testy.

But that wasn't the only disagreement in studio on Wednesday.
Shaughnessy was in from 11am to 1pm, and midway through his appearance the guys started talking about Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari, and how he was recently named a finalist for the Naismith Basketball Hall Of Fame.
Bertrand, a UMass guy, sticks up for the former Minuteman coach, while Shaughnessy can't get past all those vacated wins.
