Sen. Brown Campaigns For Charlie Baker
FOXBORO (CBS) -- Republican candidate for governor Charlie Baker campaigned alongside Senator Scott Brown Saturday afternoon.
"Scott's been a tremendous support throughout the campaign," said Baker. "And he knows these races are fundamentally about pocketbook issues, jobs, taxes and spending."
Baker and Brown also joined congressional candidate Sean Bielat at a rally in Foxboro. Beilat is fighting a close race against longtime incumbent Barney Frank.
Citing similar energy and voter frustration, Brown said Baker's campaign mimics much of what led up to his upset victory against Attorney General Martha Coakley.
"It's certainly exciting to relive what we did in January and it's something happening all across the country," said Brown.
In the final stretch of a tight race, Baker urged supporters to get to the polls and had a message for undecided voters.
" We need to change what's going on on Beacon Hill if we want to get everybody back to work and fix the fiscal mess up there," said Baker. "You've got to change the players if you want to change the game."
Baker's tour made stops in Natick, Worcester, and Springfield. Sunday the tour continues from Chelmsford to Beverly with baseball star Curt Schilling.
