Second Man Arrested In Murder Of Odin Lloyd
BOSTON (CBS) -- Police have made a second arrest in the murder of Odin Lloyd.
Carlos Ortiz, 27, of Bristol, Conn., was charged Wednesday, in Connecticut as a fugitive from justice.
Ortiz waived extradition to Massachusetts, where he will face additional charges in Bristol County.
Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is currently being held without bail for the murder of Lloyd.
A home belonging to a relative of Hernandez was also searched in Bristol Wednesday night. Officers would not say if the search was connected to the murder investigation.
Bristol, Conn., is Hernandez's hometown.
Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated the execution-style shooting of Lloyd in a field near Hernandez's home in North Attleboro June 17, because Lloyd talked to the wrong people at a nightclub.
