Scott Rabb On Toucher & Rich: 'I'm Alright' With LeBron Winning
Two years after taking his talents to Miami, LeBron James did something he never did in his seven years in Cleveland: win an NBA Championship.
Thursday night, James and the Miami Heat finished off the Oklahoma Thunder in Game 5 of the Finals to win the first championship of their "Big Three" Era.
Cleveland fan and writer Scott Raab -- who wrote the bestseller The Whore of Akron: One Man's Search for the Soul of LeBron James after James left Cleveland for Miami -- joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich to discuss how he feels now that LeBron has a ring, and how other Cleveland fans might be feeling this morning.
"I started getting a bad cramp last night and I couldn't even turn on the TV I was so cramped up," Raab joked. "You know what I think. Most people in Cleveland, I'm going to assume not everyone is as maladjusted as I am and I'm doing fine. My whole life as a Cleveland fan has prepared me for this moment."
Can fans of other major cities even fathom what it's like caring about a city that is constantly getting put down?
