Scooter Driver Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Hit By Vehicle In Dorchester
BOSTON (CBS) -- A scooter driver suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by another vehicle Saturday afternoon in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.
Boston police were called to the area of Coleman and Quincy streets shortly before 2:30 p.m. The scooter could be seen lodged underneath a maroon-colored vehicle at the scene.
The scooter driver, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was traveling alone, police say.
The unidentified victim was rushed to an area hospital. The other driver stayed at the scene and has not been charged.
