Home owner Jim Maloney told WBZ-TV when he heard the crash he thought the accident was out on the street, not in the side of their home.
"I was seated right here with a magazine, very calmly. Bang. Bang," said Jim Maloney, speaking from the couch in his den.
It wasn't until he walked into his living room that he saw what happened where he found himself staring at a school bus. "I was eyeball to eyeball with a yellow school bus that had come off the street, up our stone wall, destroyed our shrubbery."
His wife, Mary Elizabeth Maloney, said, "I was in the upstairs bedroom right over the living room and it just shook the house. I just can't believe what I saw, a long yellow bus."
The front wall is cracked, but the Maloneys can stay in their home.
