Scene In Denver: Broncos Likely Without Dawkins, Decker
DENVER (CBS) - Due to the snow we received this morning here in Denver, the Broncos shifted practice from outside to inside their bubble.
The bubble is about the same size as the Dana Farber bubble the Patriots have at Foxboro, and I was able to go inside for the media portion of their practice.
Wide receiver Eric Decker (sprained MCL) and safety Brian Dawkins (neck) were both on the sidelines and it looks like Broncos may be without them come Saturday night.
Patriots Blog: Broncos Have To 'Pick Their Poison'
Two things stuck out to me at the availability. One, the tempo of drills, stretching, etc was very upbeat. There, as you might expect coming off Sunday's big win over the Steelers, was a good energy out there. And two, watching the coaches continue to teach fundamentals. Players were doing tackling drills, etc and the coaches were constantly teaching. I'm sure it happens all over the NFL, but it was still cool to see.
Denver coach John Fox spent a good portion of the media avail talking to the beat writers along the sidelines. I guess he does that on a fairly regular basis.
Toucher & Rich: Will Saturday Be Another Patriots Blowout?
Coming up beginning at 5pm on WBZ-TV, we'll hear from Tim Tebow, Coach Fox, and others.
There is lots of excitement here about Saturday night's game, and, it's not all Tebow all the time here. At least around the facility. In the city, that may be a different story....
