Savard Has Grade Two Concussion
According to Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli, center Marc Savard has been diagnosed with a grade two concussion. Savard flew back to Boston following the 2-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and was evaluated by team doctors. No time table has been set for his return.
The concussion occurred after an elbow from Matt Cooke.
The Bruins continue their road trip, without Savard, Tuesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. All the action can be heard on 98-5 The Sports Hub, starting with the Dunkin Donuts Bruins pre game show at 6:30pm.
