Nor'easters Leave Significant Erosion At Salisbury Beach
SALISBURY (CBS) – Pounding waves during a pair of powerful nor'easters in less than a week caused significant beach erosion at Salisbury Beach.
Extreme high tides wiped out the 12-foot high sand dunes.
The dunes were located in front of several homes.
The area of the beach erosion is near where the ocean meets the Hampton bridge, around the 8th Beach entrance.
