Ryan Whitney: Everything Julien Has Done Has Turned To Gold
Massachusetts native Ryan Whitney of the Edmonton Oilers joined Gresh and Zo on Friday to talk about the Stanley Cup Final.
Whitney attended both games in Boston, and said the atmosphere at the Garden was unlike any games he has been to, or played in.
"It's just been such an amazing atmosphere to see how it turned," he said. "The Bruins started playing the way that makes them successful. It almost sounds bad, but they can beat teams up. The meaner they, the tougher they play, it seems like they always win the game."
Does he believe the Bruins have gotten into the heads of Vancouver and if that will pay dividends in the end?
And, is Vancouver making the right move by starting Luongo in Game 5?
"You have to stick with the guys that have gotten you here," said Whitney. "(Claude) Julien takes heat but he sticks with guys. They've got him this far and he believes in his players."
What does Whitney make of the Marchand submarine play in Game 4?
That and more with Ryan Whitney...
