1 Injured In Boston Shooting
BOSTON (CBS) – A person was injured late Thursday morning in a shooting in Boston. Police say the initial shooting happened near Claybourne Street in Dorchester, but the victim was found blocks away in Roxbury.
Three bullets pierced through the windshield of an SUV after shots rang out just before noon.
There were two scenes police were investigating. The first was in a Dorchester neighborhood. A man who lives on Claybourne Street says he was sleeping when he woke up to gunshots.
A neighbor said the incident happened just two houses down from a residential daycare.
The SUV and victim were found shortly after at the intersection of Moreland and Warren Streets, blocking off a section of the busy area in Roxbury.
Boston Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and will be OK. No arrests have been made and police are still investigating.
