Rondo Game-Time Decision for Celtics vs. Kings
BOSTON (CBS) - Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will be a game-time decision for Sunday night's game against the Sacramento Kings.
Rondo missed Saturday night's 101-83 loss to the Golden State Warriors after suffering a right hip/thigh bruise in Boston's Thursday night loss to the L.A. Clippers. Should he miss Sunday night's game, Rondo would have nearly a week off as the Celtics don't play next until Wednesday night when they return home to host the Memphis Grizzlies.
For the season, Rondo is averaging 13.6 points and 11.7 assists per game.
The Celtics are also hoping to have guard Leandro Barbosa back for Sunday night's game after he missed the last four games to tend to a family matter.
Boston closes out their four-game road trip on Sunday night after dropping below .500 on the season with Saturday night's loss.
