Romney, Huntsman Meet At New Hampshire Parade
AMHERST, N.H. (CBS) - Two presidential contenders shared a handshake and a crowd at the Amherst, NH parade on Monday. Both Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman chose the Amherst parade to march in for the Fourth of July.
The parade is a classic New England celebration and it's become a favorite among candidates.
"They usually come by and shake your hand," Sandi Saunders said. "I think it's important for them to show up and to see them, but we're a little busy watching the parade."

Huntsman and Romney have both declared New Hampshire a must win. Romney marched with a large cadre of supporters and a float as he shook hands and posed for pictures. "People vote here in big numbers so we've got to be here to say hi to Amherst," he said.
Huntsman ran through the route, giving high fives as his supporters chanted, "Jon 2012."
He said he's gaining ground in the state. "New Hampshire loves margin of error candidates who are willing to work and put in the time and effort and energy."
