Romney Campaigning At Tea Party Rally In NH
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Two former governors who want to be president spent Sunday campaigning in New Hampshire.
Former Utah governor Jon Huntsman, who arrived Thursday for a five-day trip, greeted voters at the Alton Fair and Hopkinton State Fair on Sunday, while Mitt Romney was slated to attend a Tea Party Express rally in Concord.
Before that rally, some gathered to protest Romney and support other Republican candidates. Others, however, were there to support the former Massachusetts Governor.
WBZ-TV's Paul Burton reports.
On Monday, Romney is attending a Labor Day breakfast in Manchester, while Huntsman attends a parade in Milford and picnic in Salem.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who hasn't said yet whether she is running for president, also will be in the state Monday.
