Clemens Booed At Fenway As He Takes In Red Sox-Braves
BOSTON (CBS) - Seven-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens enjoyed a great view of Friday night's Red Sox-Braves game at Fenway Park from the front row of the Green Monster.
The reception he received from the Fenway crowd was a little less enjoyable though.

Although he is tied with Cy Young for the most wins in franchise history, Clemens heard a ration of boos when featured on the scoreboard after the third inning. They likely stem from his ugly departure for Toronto, his tenure(s) in pinstripes, or recent bout in court -- or all of the above.
There were some cheers for Clemens, although they were vastly outweighed by the jeers.

This was Clemens' first trip of the season to the ballpark he won 100 games in as a player. The 49-year-old missed Fenway Park's 100th Anniversary celebration in April to attend his son's game in Texas, although he sported a white "Fenway 100" hat Friday night.
"The Rocket" pitched for the Red Sox from 1984-96, winning 192 games and striking out a franchise record 2,590 batters. His 4,672 career punch-outs are third on baseball's all-time list.
Earlier this week, Clemens was acquitted on all charges that he obstructed and lied to Congress in denying he used performance-enhancing drugs.
