Robert Kraft Shows Off Shiny Patriots Sneakers

BOSTON (CBS) -- Patriots owner Robert Kraft kept a promise to Ty Law for Thursday Night Football.

Kraft showed off a shiny pair of New England Patriots sneakers ahead of Thursday night's game against the New York Jets, a gift he received from the former Patriots cornerback.

Law gave Kraft the sneakers when he was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in August. Kraft wore them on stage for that ceremony, and Law asked him to do the same when the team honored him at halftime of Thursday night's game.

"When we inducted him in the Hall of Fame, he made a present of these shoes to me," explained Kraft to WBZ-TV's Steve Burton. "I made a promise to him that I'd wear them tonight."

And don't be surprised if Kraft breaks out a few dance moves again during Law's ceremony.

"It all goes back to 2001 when he called me out to dance," Kraft said, recalling the famous moves he showed off at City Hall Plaza after the team's Super Bowl parade in 2002. "He gave me a picture that said 'who said white men can't dance?

"I'm not sure it was a great move on my part, but he was kind," Kraft said.
