SWANSEA - A money courier fired two shots at two armed men who tried to rob him at a bank in southeastern Massachusetts Monday.
It happened around 12:50 p.m. at the Bay Coast bank on Route 118 in Swansea.
Police say that two men attempted to hold up the courier who was making a delivery there. But the courier fired two shots at the men, who took off in a U-Haul van.
The van was later found on fire and abandoned.
Police said the suspects fled into Rhode Island before the driver was arrested. He was identified as 29-year-old Giovany Fouyolle of Randolph.
The other man has not been found yet.
