Rob Gronkowski Is A Terrible Ballerina
By Michael Hurley, CBS Boston
BOSTON (CBS) -- Rob Gronkowski is exceptional at a number of things in this world, a list that includes playing football, making money, dancing, and generally enjoying life.
But the man is not good at ballet.
You might have assumed as much, considering his 6-foot-6, 265-pound frame. But now there's visual evidence that suggests Gronk won't be leaving the Charles River for Swan Lake any time soon.
Gronkowski's instructor, Nathalia Arja from Miami City Ballet, doesn't exactly offer words of encouragement to Gronkowski, but it doesn't seem like he needed any. Wearing his finest French mime shirt, Gronkowski provided plenty of positive commentary for himself.
"Dang, I'm doing pretty good," Gronkowski exclaimed after his first plié.
"I think I got it," he said when trying to get into fifth position, despite definitely not having it.
"Ooh, not bad," he said after a bad jump. "Ooooh!"
The video's part of a full-on Gronk Media Blitz this month, which includes the Patriots superstar on the cover of the Madden video game as well as on the cover of GQ. It also includes this video from GQ, which is clearly highlighted by Gronkowski's unique pronunciation of "genre" at the 2:18 mark.
Also, just because, here's a picture of Gronkowski with a fluffy dog.
It's already been quite an offseason for a young man who clearly enjoys being healthy and not having any physical therapy filling up his datebook.
