Rich Keefe's Fantasy Brief: Week 13 Waiver Wire Pickups

BOSTON (CBS) -- We're in the final stretch of the Fantasy Football season, with teams making their final push for a playoff spot.

Week 13 kicks off with a trio of turkey day clashes: Chicago at Detroit, Philadelphia at Dallas and Seattle at San Francisco. So be sure to get your roster in order before sitting down to a glorious meal on Thursday.

On Tuesday night, 98.5 The Sports Hub's Rich Keefe and Adam Jones laid out the players you should put a claim in for immediately on your league's waiver wire.

Before getting into this week's pick ups, Keefe reminded everyone to pounce on last week's picks -- running backs LeGarrette Blount, Ben Tate, Latavius Murray and Boom Harren -- if you haven't already. Now, onto this week's recommendations:

Vikings WR Charles Johnson

"He's emerged as their top target. Teddy Bridgewater is finding this guy; two weeks ago six catches for 87 yards, and last week he got into the end zone for the first time with three catches and 52 yard," said Keefe. "He's going up against Carolina this week, who have a bad secondary. Maybe Johnson can get on a hot streak here."

Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry

"Over the last four games for Miami, no receiver has been targeted more than Landry," said Keefe. "He has also had three touchdowns the last two weeks; he only has five on the season. He is becoming more and more part of the offense, and they're playing the Jets this week. That is a miserable secondary, so I don't like him just as a pick up but as a start."

New York Giants Defense

"They're at Jacksonville, and the Jaguars really haven't let anyone down," said Keefe. "They've allowed five or six defensive/special team touchdowns, and Blake Bortles is going to throw at least one pick per game."

Keefe also recommends the Baltimore defense for the next few weeks.
