Rich Keefe's Fantasy Brief: 5 Waiver Wire Pickups For Week 10

BOSTON (CBS) - Week 10 kicks off on Thursday night and we're really starting to get down to the nitty-gritty here.

Once again it's a huge bye week: Houston, Indianapolis, Minnesota, New England, San Diego and Washington all have the week off. While there's a lot of teams on the bye, there's no shortage of options on the waiver wire to help your team get a win in Week 10 and beyond.

On Tuesday, The Adam Jones Show's Rich Keefe broke it all down on the Fantasy Brief and provided his best pickup options.

Allen Hurns

"I whiffed on this one. He was a player that I was absolutely done with. He was great at the beginning of the year, then was awful for like eight weeks in a row, then had a monster game on Sunday."

Adrian Peterson

"If he's available you obviously can't play him this week because of the bye, but you should pick him up. He can play the final three weeks of the regular season for you and the playoffs. It's not too often you have a top five overall pick in the draft just sitting out there. There's no guarantee that he plays, but it's certainly worth a shot," said Keefe. "You don't have to like the guy. You don't have to agree with him. But you have to pick him up if he's available. He's available in 75 percent of leagues because a lot of guys gave up on him."

Terrence West

"This is a guy that was drafted, dropped and is now available in a lot of leagues. West never really capitalized when Ben Tate was hurt. Tate came back, had a couple really nice games and West was even a healthy scratch in there. Now all of a sudden Tate is struggling, Isaiah Crowell is not doing anything and West had more combined touches than both of those guys last week. It's a tricky situation in Cleveland because they're gonna use all their backs, but West has to be owned."

Mark Sanchez

"Never in a million years would you think he'd be a fantasy football pickup. Nick Foles is down and out and is gonna be out for the next couple weeks. Sanchez had a couple interceptions, but he looked pretty good and threw two touchdowns when Foles went out. Sanchez looked pretty good in that offense. I don't think Foles is very good, but Chip Kelly, LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin make him look well above average. I think they can do the same for Sanchez. On Monday the Eagles play the Carolina Panthers, who give up a lot of points to quarterbacks."

Dallas Cowboys Defense

"This one is very obvious. The Dallas Cowboys defense is available in a ton of leagues. They're playing the Jacksonville Jaguars in London -- that's the Rich Keefe double whammy. Jacksonville stinks and the London games always stink."
