Rex Ryan Wants Shot At Patriots In Playoffs
BOSTON (CBS) - The New York Jets are fighting for the playoffs, but if they make it, Rex Ryan wants another crack at the New England Patriots.
"I feel we're gonna play them again, and I'm excited about that," Ryan told Mike Lupica of the New York Daily News. "Even when we got our doors blown off, 45-3, last season, I wanted to play 'em again. I meant it then, I mean it now. We WANT to play them. No question we want to play them."
The Jets are currently 7-5 and on the outside looking in to the postseason. New York dropped both of their regular season meetings with New England.

The Jets had the last laugh last season though, knocking the Patriots and their 14-2 regular season record out of the playoffs with a 28-21 victory at Gillette.
This year, Ryan admits that all the talk should be about New England, Baltimore and Pittsburgh, the top three teams in the AFC. But if New York makes it to the playoffs, he thinks people will have to see them as a legit contender.

"Hey, we're not in the playoffs yet. But if we get in the playoffs, they're gonna be talking about four teams," said Ryan. "I mean, if we get in, how can you not talk about us?"
