Revolutions Dabo Announces Retirement
FOXBOROUGH (AP) -- New England Revolution midfielder Ousmane Dabo has announced his retirement after a 16-year professional career.
The 34-year-old Dabo joined the Revolution in February and played in four games for the team. He started his professional career in his native France in 1995 while also playing in Italy and England. He also made three national team appearances for France.

Dabo called his retirement a "tough decision" made because of physical issues.
Revolution Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Burns credited Dabo for his leadership.
