Revere Police Officer Accused Of Taking Bribe
REVERE (CBS) - A Revere police officer accused of taking a $200 bribe and then lying about it to the FBI has been arrested.
According to the FBI, photos taken in January show Officer Todd Randall taking the money while on duty, driving a marked cruiser, and in uniform.
WBZ-TV's Ken MacLeod reports.
Randall apparently met with a person cooperating with the FBI recently and agreed to help stop a pending criminal case in Chelsea District Court in return for cash. He was caught on tape at a house in Everett, which was wired for video and sound by the FBI's Public Corruption Unit.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Lana Jones reports.
