Prosecutors say Burke went to Ronan's home on Aug. 15 to buy two Percocet pills and ended up shooting Ronan several times.

Burke's attorney Tim Flaherty said Monday there is no solid evidence to place his client at the scene at the time of the murder.

Burke is due back in court September 23 for a probable cause hearing.

Ronan was a former hockey captain at Reading High School.

He was about to begin training as a U.S. Marine in a just few weeks.

His family was in the courtroom for the arraignment, but had no comment for reporters.
