Reporting From Rome: O'Malley Speculation Rampant Among Media
ROME (CBS) - It is a gorgeous day in Rome! It is in the 60's with bright sunshine.
St. Peter's Square is packed. There is a very long line of people waiting to get into the Basilica.

Because of the conclave, which starts Tuesday, the Sistine Chapel is off limits to the public. One crew from each news organization was allowed inside today to shoot pictures.
CBS News correspondent Alan Pizzey told us the CBS crew was only allowed inside for 10 minutes before Vatican officials told them their time was up.

The Cardinals are meeting again today (we saw three of them during their mid-day break) but not talking to the media. In the absence of information, there is rampant speculation. One Italian newspaper polled its writers -- asking them to guess which Cardinals are now the leading candidates to become the next pope.
