Report: Patriots Brady, Mankins Ready To Testify
BOSTON (CBS) - If the NFL Players Union were to decertify, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and guard Logan Mankins would be at the front of the line to battle the NFL, according to reports.
ESPN is reporting, along with Brady and Mankins, the Colts Peyton Manning and Saints Drew Brees have agreed to be lead plaintiffs on the antitrust suit the players will file against the NFL if no labor agreement is reached and the union files for decertification.

By decertifying, the union would no longer represent NFL players as they would give up their rights under labor laws. Instead, the players would take their chances in court under an unitrust law.
NFL Lockout: What It All Means
On Thursday, the NFL and the players' union decided Thursday to keep the current collective bargaining agreement in place for an additional 24 hours so that negotiations could continue.
